A Homecoming with a Mission
Driven by the belief that the future of development lies in Geoinformatics, Kunal returned to Guwahati. He didn't just bring back a degree; he brought a vision to establish a center of excellence that could rival any national institute.
From a Classroom of Four to a Community of a Hundred
The journey began humbly. With just four students who shared his belief, Kunal launched the first batch. It was an intensive, hands-on experiment in bridging the gap between academic theory and industry reality.
Five years later, that small spark has become a flame.
Today, the GRED Institute celebrates a milestone of 100 graduates. These alumni are no longer just students; they are the GIS analysts, Remote Sensing specialists, and urban planners driving the modernization of Assam and beyond.

Our Story
Founded in 2020, GRED Institute emerged from a simple observation: the gap between academic geospatial education and industry requirements was widening. Our founders, with decades of combined experience in GIS, remote sensing, and spatial analysis, set out to bridge this divide.
What started as a small initiative to train professionals in ArcGIS has evolved into a comprehensive learning platform serving over 100,000 learners across 50+ countries.
